RF- I’m going to paste this from the first part of my post because you should be able to find it in the Dashboard/Settings/Branding/Edit Theme (button).

Choose Dashboard> Settings > [Branding/Edit Theme (button)] from the Substack dashboard. From there, click the Homepage option in the left sidebar menu, then on Intro/Header Style/ and choose Media Feature from the drop-down menu.

You shouldn’t have to create a Section to use the Media Feature on the home page - though it’s an option for Sections, too.

(They changed the formatting terms since I wrote that post. They do that a lot without warning.)

If you still have trouble, we can get on a quick Zoom call and work through it. 👍🏼 Send me a DM if you need to.

Hi Barry: I'm curious about the logistics of your hero image. How did you get the title and subtitle to embed into your image? Or is that a full-width image with text designed into it? FYI: I've tried just uploading an image with a title and subtitle designed on the image, and then not writing a title/subtitle on the post, but Substack is requiring me to add a title. I'm also not seeing an option to get the image to be full width when viewing it on the Homepage. Is this a matter of creating a section on the home page and designing that? Thanks for any insights you can offer!
