“Everything is an experiment.”
Life, business, love, and all of life’s undertakings are grand experiments that yield results.
The results are everything.
I don’t mean the degree of success kind of results, but the observations we make based on the data kind of results.
Here’s what I mean:
PAGES TO PROFITS was an experiment
The resulting data indicates a need to pivot if I want different results
Defining that pivot is where I find myself today
You might have noticed that this newsletter isn’t called PAGES TO PROFITS anymore. That decision was also based on results.
One of the riskiest decisions we can make in online business is to name our company/newsletter/offer after our core offer; one of the safest is to name it after ourselves.
You never know when a pivot might be in order. Keeping everything under your name makes for a less abrupt transition.
Some of the results I’ve observed via PTP are as follows:
Few are willing to offer a service to stimulate cash flow, which puzzles me.
Many want instant results—I can understand that, however unrealistic it might be. It’s the age we live in; everything is instantaneously on demand.
Most aren’t willing to think outside Substack’s monetization box.
Here’s what I know.
I’ll keep experimenting. I’ll keep emailing. I’ll keep offering to help.
